Saint-Gobain Sweden AB, ISOVER manufacturers glass wool insulation in Sweden. With our products and our knowledge we contribute to energy savings in society. Our head office is in Billesholm in the southern part of Sweden, where we also manufacture glass wool.Besides glass wool we also sell ULTIMATE insulation and foams manufactured by other companies. We are the only supplier in Sweden to offer a complete range of insulation products with glass wool, ULTIMATE and foams. We use the brands ISOVER and ULTIMATE.

The history of the company
Billesholms Glasulls AB was founded in 1933 as a replacement for the mining industry in Billesholm that was shut down. Glass wool, then a new and untested insulation material, saved the small village. The name Gullfiber was used until 1999 and was developed into one of the strongest brands in Sweden.1933 – Billesholms Glasulls AB is founded
1963 – Saint-Gobain becomes part owner
1967 – The brand is changed to Gullfiber
1986 – Saint-Gobain becomes sole owner
1988 – The daughter company Gullfiber Akustik AB becomes Ecophon AB
1999 – The brand is changed to ISOVER Gullfiber
2000 – The company name is changed to Saint-Gobain ISOVER AB
2002 – The brand is changed to ISOVER
2002 – The ISOVER companies of Sweden and Denmark start cooperating as ISOVER Scandinavia
2016 – The company name is changed to Saint-Gobain Sweden AB, as a result of a fusion with Weber, Scanspac and Gyproc.
