Role purpose
As part of the Finance team and supported by Assistant Controller(s), he/she is responsible for the Industrial Controlling. He/she provides analysis and information concerning plant performance. The role is crucial for the plant management to support them in the daily management of factory, improvement projects and strategic decisions.
Job Description
- Responsible for local production reporting and analysis of plant performance
- Monthly calculation, analysis and comment of deviations vs Budget. Presentation of monthly results of the plant during the monthly plant management meeting
- Support and initiate proposals to improve the economical situation of the plant
- Performance of recurrent and ad hoc analysis requested by management or central controlling, support project with adequate financial analysis
- Responsible of the WCM loss/cost deployment
- Elaboration of the budget:
- Standard cost calculation (including bill of materials and routings)
- Support to CAPEX and expense projects planning
- Coordination of cost centres planning
- Analysis and comment the budget results
- Control of consistency and accuracy of the data
- Support the central elaboration of Rolling forecasts, Long Range Plan (standard cost evolution, CAPEX and expense projects, presentation)
- Pay back calculation of CAPEX and expense projects of the plant, follow up of the expenses
- Industrial Reporting according to requirements of Group Industrial Management
- Validation of recurrent accurate calculation of standard costs (bill of materials, routings) for new articles and entering corresponding material master data in the ERP system
- Local support to central controlling team in the development of ERP modules
- Responsibility for yearly plant inventory
- Supervision, development and training of the Assistant Controller(s)
